CAS Watercolour December Challenge

Welcome to December's challenge at CAS Watercolour!

Thanks to all that entered our TEXT challenge last month.  We had so many beautiful entries.  Congrats to Hannelie who is our Top Pick for November.

On to this month's challenge ...

We're mixing it up a bit by including a technique this month.  Please create a CAS Watercoloured card that includes the Watercolour Resist technique.

Not familiar with this technique??  Here's a short description or check out the details on the Design Team cards for ideas.

First create a resist on your card base.  A resist can be made in many different ways: heat embossing, translucent pastes or gels, versamark, acrylic paints, etc.  Any product or technique that creates a surface that is resistant to colour.  Then add watercolouring over top.  Any type of watercolour medium is welcome (watercolour paints, distress inks, sprays, etc.).  Make sure to leave some open space on your card with limited embellishments and layers, to create a Clean and Simple design.

Please enter only Clean and Simple Watercolour cards.
Thank you!!

We are excited to welcome Deepti Malik (Dee's Art Utopia) as our very first Guest Designer at CAS Watercolour.  Deepti was the Top Pick for our October challenge - Autumn with this beautiful card.  Welcome Deepti.
